Potter, Conley and Myrtle Fae Byers414 viewsThis is a picture of my grandparents Conley Potter and Myrtle Fae Byers. My grandfather was born May 9,1893 at Zionville, Watauga County. His parents were Reuben Potter Jr. and Martha V. Lewis. After moving to Oregon he married Myrtle Fae Byers July 16,1917. Conley Potter died Jan. 29.1961 at Walla Walla, Wa. and he is buried at Fossil, Wheeler Co., Or. Mrytle Fae Byers died Sept. 4,1928 at Wasco Co. Or. and she is buried at Wasco, Or. This company was Company A, 6th North Carolina Cavalry. After the civil war, the political situation forced Brown to relocate to Watauga County, NC.
