He served in McRae's Battalion NC Cavalry during the Civil War. Lived first on Horse Creek, and later in the Helton area of Ashe County, NC.

Blevins, Judson1261 viewsJudson Blevins (1905-1976) was the son of Jeter C. Blevins and Rosa Sage. This photo was taken while he was a student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He became a physician and mpved to New Jersey and severed all ties with the family in Ashe County.
