Hash, James Alexander879 viewsThis photo is James Alexander Hash b. 10-20-1868 d. 11-24-1948, often called "Alex", the father of Edgar Jackson Hash. Edgar's mother was Artisia Andersen who passed away and James Alexander married Gincy/Jincy Dalton and had several more children. I have a photo of Edgar and his three brothers - the four sons of Artisia Andersen. In one of the Memories of Grayson books is a picture of Sophronia (Frona) Hash Anderson and she is the sister of James Alexander Hash. Monroe Davis and Mary Mase/Maze, both also of the general area of Grayson/Ashe. Bertie died in 1932. They lived most of their adult lives in Tazewell County, VA.
