Saddle Creek - Saddle Creek Primitive Baptist Church
Established in1842, Saddle Creek Primitive Baptist Meeting-house is one of the most recognizable landmarks west of Independence, as it is located on the southside of U.S.58 the main east-west thoroughfare through Grayson County.  This style of meeting house with the dual front doors was popular in the late 19th century.  Men would enter on one side and women on the other.  Photo June 8, 2007 by Jeff Weaver
