Directions: Located to the east side of New River Pkwy (US 21) 1.35 miles south of the intersection of Main St in Independence.

Comments: The Brush Creek Baptist Church is a large church set on a large lot, with a cemetery on either side of the road leading to the church. This is a relatively new cemetery, and there is lots of room for additional burials. The cemetery’s east side is on a rather steep hill. The grounds are well kept. In September 1987, the Anders Family Cemetery was moved, and now occupy a small corner of this church yard. This cemetery is obviously separate from the Brush Creek Cemetery and is presented in a separate file.
