BOURNE, William F., Jr. | 1743 | 1836 | [believed to be 88 years of age so his birth year would have been 1748] |
BOURNE, Rosamond "Rosa" | 1750 | 1821 | [w/o William F. Bourne; age 71 years]; "Here Rosa Bourne’s body laid, of who in truth no hard was said, Her sovereign will was much obeyed, while here on earth she stayed, Because that her deportment made, Through perfect love, all feel afraid. The man who wrote these lines to tell, of her character, knew her well. He put these lines upon this stone, To make to all the readers known, That they like her may do the same, In order to obtain a name, And to perpetuate their fame." |
