noahbarker.jpg
noahbarker.jpg1071 viewsThis is Noah Barker of Ashe Co. NC According to my family Noah was a blind musician, a fiddle player. He was married to Leah Pendergrass and they were in some way related to the Harrison Pendergrass family. My great-grandfather Harrison Pendergrass and his family adopted the surname Barker. According to the 1870 and 1880 cesnsus records Noah Barker was born abt. 1825. The census records also note that Noah was blind and a musician. I would love to hear from anyone who may know more about Noah Barker or the Pendergrasses from Horse Creek in Ashe Co.
