Nelson Family Cemetery
Grayson County, Virginia
Location: Troutdale
Directions: From the junction of Ripshin Rd (Rt 603) and Auburn Ln (Rt 287) go 0.2 mile east on Ripshin Rd to Mt. Rogers Clinic on left (north). The cemetery is behind clinic complex on upslope approximately 250 ft from road. Go through gate into field behind clinic and go right along fence.

Comments: The cemetery is not visible from Ripshin Rd. Cemetery was fenced, covered with periwinkle and showed evidence of having been cleared of trees and shrubs in recent years. (1997) Some evidence of an earlier effort to re-set older stones in newer concrete bases. Needed fence repaired and herbicide application.
