John Clen Hall Family Cemetery

Location: Rugby
Directions: From the junction of Rugby Rd (Rt 743) and Tucker Rd (Rt 725) go 0.94 mile south on Rugby Rd. From this point in the road cemetery is on right (NW), visible on the ridge finger, directly across the stream approximately 100 yards distant. Access by continuing approximately 150 ft south on Rugby Rd to driveway on right, to residence 2088 Rugby Rd. Turn into driveway, go past the house, then turn right and follow the trail up to the ridgeline on right.

Comments: In 1996 cemetery was newly fenced, but cattle previously were allowed to graze it. Cemetery holds 4 graves, stones overturned, scattered and 2 of them broken or missing. Stones need to be set on their bases and cemented in place.

From these fragments and from information furnished by Sylvia Henderson, her step-granddaughter, the above dates were established. Other fragments may be obscured by heavy grass cover in the cemetery. She also has a stone in the Abram Reedy Cemetery but is actually buried here. |
