Jacob Grubb Cemetery
Grayson County, Virginia
Location: South of Barton’s Crossroads in the old community of Major.
Directions: From the junction of Fox Creek Rd (Rt 711) and Wilson Hwy (US 58) go 4 1/2 mi north on Fox Creek Rd. Or from the junction of Fox Creek Rd and Flatridge Rd (Rt 658) go half mile southeast on Fox Creek Rd. The cemetery is east of the road on a hill top and can be seen from the road.

Comments: The fenced area of this cemetery is much larger than indicated by the number of marked graves. It appears any field stones have been removed when brush was cleared off the cemetery, but depressions show there are numerous –perhaps 20 or 30– unmarked graves here.
