Mouth of Wilson - The Round House853 viewsThis house was built by Dan Idol in 1874. Although called the Round House it is actually octagonal. There was a mini-craze for octagonal houses in the mid-19th century. This is apparently the only one in Grayson County. Photo by Jeff Weaver, June 8, 2007.

KellCemetery,SmythCounty,Virginia.jpg
Kell Cemetery, Smyth County,Virginia851 viewsKell cemetery, from the upper side. It is MUCH steeper than it looks in this picture and when you get to the last stones at the bottom, there is a almost straight drop. The cemetery is on top of a hill. There is a pretty rough little rd that comes up to the foot but, we opted to walk up.
