Alfred Blevins Cemetery
Grayson County, Virginia
Location: West of White Top
Directions: The Alfred Blevins Cemetery is in the extreme southwestern corner of Grayson County, Virginia and is exceedingly difficult to reach. From the junction of Highlands Parkway (US 58) and Whitetop Gap Rd (Rt 726) go south on Whitetop Gap Rd to the community of White Top. From White Top take Pond Mountain Lane (Rt 755) west to the end of state maintenance. At this point there will be a house and several outbuildings to the left. Inquire at the house about permission and directions to get to this cemetery. Basically, you have to go up the lane past the barns closest to the creek, and then ford the creek, it is fairly wide, and fairly shallow, but there is no bridge, walk up this road about 0.25 mile, and then cross a fence, climb a hill planted in christmas trees, walking toward the ridge. Once on the ridge follow it until you reach the cemetery.
