Abel Carrico IV Cemetery
Grayson County, Virginia
Location: Carsonville Road
Directions: From Grayson Pkwy (US 58) go north on Riverside Road (SR 94). Stay on Riverside Road to its intersection with Carsonville Road (Rt 660). Go about 1 to 2 miles on Carsonville Road and on left will be the farm which Abel Carrico IV owned. The cemetery is on the back side of the farm, facing New River over a mile from the road. It can’t be reached by car.

Comments: Willie Carrico, a great uncle and Dewey Carico, an uncle went to the funeral of Abel Carrico IV and Rebecca Russell. They remember at one time a little girl buried there with her name written on one of the rocks. When I visited the cemetery on 17 Sep 1987, the name had faded away.
