New River Notes, a leading genealogy resource for the New River Valley of North Carolina and Virginia, launched its new look website today.
New River Notes was originally launched in 1998 by Jeffery C. Weaver providing New River Valley researchers with a new wealth of information and that tradition is continued today by the Grayson County, Virginia Heritage Foundation, Inc.

Grayson County, Virginia
Location: Southeast of Independence
Directions: From the junction of US 21 and Dixie Rd (Rt 756) go east on Dixie Rd about 1.7 miles to Graystone Rd. Go east about 2 miles on Graystone. Cemetery is south of the road. Landmarks near the cemetery have not yet been determined. This description will be be updated when the cemetery is visited.

Comments: This grave yard is on land sold by the heirs of Berry and Catherine Anders. When the land was sold in 1917 the grave yard was specifically excluded in the deed.
