James Cemetery
Sugar Grove, Smyth County, Virginia
The Ezekiel James Cemetery is located in the Sugar Grove Community of Smyth County on Route 601 [Teas Road} between the Sugar Grove Elementary School and the Maple Leaf Park.
This cemetery was surveyed on June 23, 2003 by Jeff Weaver and Sadie Stamper Greer. At the time 15 graves were located, however, there were large spaces with no grave stones present. This cemetery was overgrown for sometime and only recently cleaned off. We suspect that there are other graves present that are unmarked.
