Coomes Cemetery
Grayson County, Virginia
Location: South of Baywood
Directions: From Grayson Pkwy (US 58) go south on Baywood Store Rd (Rt 624) and go southwest one Old Baywood Rd (Rt on 626) until you cross Little River, at the T intersection across the river turn left on Little River Rd (Rt 626) up the hill and around the curves to where Hill Falls Ln (Rt 627) turns right go down Hill Falls Ln until you pass a modular home on the left with a garage. Go 100 yards or so on down the road and you will see a gate on the right that has some concrete roadway beyond it. Follow the road down through the timber. The cemetery is just beyond on the right, but off the road maybe 30-50 yards.

Comments: A close look will reveal Richard Taylor’s C.S.A. stone from the road. I am sure that there are more buried stones under the pine mulch.
