POW, released 6/19/1865.  He entered Confederate Soldiers Home in Richmond in 1910, died April 1927 and is buried

McCoy Anderson served as 3rd Sgt. in Company I, 51st VA Inf., CSA, enlisting 6/28/1861.  He was reduced to Private
due to AWOL from 8/7/1862 to 12/31/1862.  He was sick from 6/15/1863 to 11/4/1863.]
