Comments: John Andrew Peak is buried alone
on his farm. The reason for his being buried in this way was that one
of his sons was a ne’er-do-well, and Mr. Peak wanted to be buried
here to look over what the errant son was doing. It did little good;
the son lost the farm and moved on, leaving Peak here alone. The story
was related by March Kiser.
