William Farmer Cemetery
Grayson County, Virginia
Location: This cemetery lies east of Penn Ford Lane on family-owned land.
Directions: From Independence take Wilson Hwy (US 58) west to Penn Ford Lane (Rt 706). Head south about 1.5 miles on Penn Ford Lane. Access to the cemetery is via a driveway on the left side of the road at the top of a hill. The cemetery is not visible from the road or from the house but lies down the hill behind the house.
GPS Coordinates: N36.59618 W81.18947
Surveyed by: Carol Lindamood and Rich and Ginger Ballard on 4 Apr 2005
Comments: The cemetery is fenced and maintained up until the past couple of years. A minor amount of work would put it in good shape again. It seems likely that there are several unmarked graves here.
