tradition the cemetery was started by John Morris in 1858. I’m
sure he would be well pleased with the outcome of his efforts. This
is a very beautiful cemetery and it is well cared for. There are
several soldiers laid to rest here, among them is the grave of
Charles B. Morris who was awarded the Medal of Honor for his heroism
on the field of battle. Information in [brackets] is not on the
stone.
